MY DOCTOR RECOMENDED THE BOOST AFYER OPEN HEART SURGERY. AND IT DID THE JOB FOR ME, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE BOOST WHICH HAS FIBER IN THE CHOCOLATE FLAVOR.

Boost Nutritional Energy Drink, Chocolate, 8 Ounce Bottle
We recently bought some of this to try occasionally giving them to my six-year-old nephew. (Note: I wouldn’t normally recommend this kind of thing for kids. We only got it for him because his doctor recommended that his mother do whatever she could to increase his calorie intake.)
I was a little concerned about whether it would work out, since I’ve used meal replacement drinks on occasion when I knew I wasn’t going to have time to get actual food and they were often chalky and a bit shy of what I’d call appetizing. I tried this, though, and it actually tasted like pretty good chocolate milk. Not bad at all.
Once I convinced him to try it (I’m sure that anyone who’s dealt with kids and food knows how the “But it’s good! Really!” conversation goes), my nephew happily drank it as well. I think his opinion counts for more than mine here, because you know a kid that age isn’t going to cheerfully consume something just because you tell them it’s good for them!
It’s still better to live on actual food whenever you can, but if you need a supplement or something to fall back on for your busiest days, this stuff honestly tastes pretty good so long as you like chocolate milk. (I haven’t tried the strawberry version myself, but my nephew has and seemed happy with it. Neither of us has tried any other flavors, so I can’t speak to how they are.)

Boost Nutritional Energy Drink, Chocolate, 8 Ounce Bottle
I buy Boost for my husband and he has one every day with his oatmeal for breakfast. It is a wonderful source of extra protein (10g) and calcium (30%) and other vitamins, esp. if you mix it with a little low-fat/fat-free milk. They are a good thing to take on the road and have in between meals or before dinner on the way home from work so you are not ravenous when you hit home and feel like eating everything in sight! The only thing I would say is a negative is that one serving has 25g of sugar, which is a little high for me and my nutrition goals. Other than, that I highly recommend it!

The doctor recommended that my elderly mother get some more good protein into daily caloric intake. The challenge is that its heavy and expensive for her to purchase. Amazon has a good automatic delivery with a competitive cost.
